Roy Morgan Research is currently looking for face to face interviewers to work on a long running, important government Travel study (QTS) in and around Brisbane.

This includes Taringa, Wellington Point, Mount Warren Park, Corinda, Mount Gravatt East, Waterford, Aspley, Browns Plains, Chermside, Marsden, Carindale and Eagleby.

Once established as a great interviewer, there will be ample opportunities to work on other projects.


We are looking for reliable, self-motivators seeking regular casual work who are available to work at least 2-3 weeks per month, including some weekend work.

This job suits applicants such as uni students, self-employed, semi-retired, and parents working around school hours.

Rosters will be provided one month in advance for your easy planning.

Fieldwork will stop during school holidays and for one week either side.

There is NO selling involved.

You will receive a competitive hourly rate and per kilometre reimbursement when using your car.

What we need from you:

  • Weekend availability sometime between 95, preferably both days for 23 weekends per month.
  • Weekday availability you can work around uni, school pickups, parttime jobs etc.
but MUST be available to work from
3pm - 6pm on Thursdays and Fridays on the weeks that you have been rostered to work - The hours on these 2 weekdays are essential and
not negotiable:

  • To approach 30 preselected addresses per workload in the required time frame and recruit these household to take part in the project. (After dropping off a letter in the previous week)
  • To complete short questionnaire with each HH and place travel diaries with household members.
  • To return to applicable households to assist in completion of travel diaries.
  • To be able to learn how to use a tablet and accurately record outcomes of every call on the tablet.

Applicants must have:

  • Required weekend and weekday availability (in addition to the required 3pm 6pm on Thu & Fri
  • Completed a National Police Check (we complete and pay for this process)
  • A reliable car and current driver's license
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of computers, mobile phones or tablets
  • Interviewing experience desired but not necessary
  • A clean and presentable appearance with a professional and friendly attitude.
