At Roy Morgan Research, we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our field operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a decentralized field team, recruiting, training, and supporting interviewers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a decentralized field team, ensuring optimal interviewer coverage for each research project.
  • Recruit, train, and support interviewers, providing ongoing guidance and support.
  • Develop and enhance training materials and implement training for interviewers to ensure high-quality data collection.
  • Manage field logistics and administrative tasks, including scheduling, onboarding/offboarding, training, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to oversee the production and distribution of field materials.
  • Ensure accuracy and suitability of survey instruments, sample management procedures, and workflows impacting field operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of field management experience.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for working as part of a team.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience managing a dispersed/field team or within market research is desirable.
