The role of Personal Assistant to the Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring the Unit Manager has all the relevant information and documentation required to make well prepared and informed decisions.


Your days will see you coordinating reports, correspondence, presentation materials and financial information, managing the Unit Mangers calendar and prioritising and coordinating work and appointments.

You will also be maintaining and building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Providing quality and efficient administrative services; exercising discretion, judgement, initiative and confidentiality to support the Unit Manager
  • Researching, collating and summarising information, preparing a range of documentation and coordinating responses to ensure the Unit Manager is well prepared to make decisions.

About you:

  • You will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or related field OR have demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role
  • You have continued to undertake continued professional development
  • You have recent experience working in a similar role in a large organisation
  • You have well developed computer skills including electronic management systems and finance systems
  • You are able to take on complex and sensitive projects on behalf of the Unit Manager
  • You have well developed experience in consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, while also learning from others
  • Having a work/life balance is important to you.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $69.5k to $83.4k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 11% superannuation.
