This opportunity requires the manager to combine their Chef skills with their customer service expertise, as the working week will combine both time in the kitchen and time managing the services we provide to our client.
A bit about you
- Desirably have previous experience in a similar role or as a Chef, have the desire to take the next step in this Senior Living career opportunity.
- Be a strong leader and decision maker.
- A good understanding of HACCP and food handling experience
- Excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated team
- Attention to detail and great time management is a must
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Have Intermediate computer literacy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be triple COVID Vaccinated
- Must be 2023 Influenza Vaccinated
- Have a current Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one.
Key Duties include
- Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
- Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum
- Maintain current food and labour controls in line with onsite budgets.
- Deliver service that comes from the heart and served with a smile
- Work in close partnership with our client to provide hands on leadership.
