    Job description:
  • Work as part of the national Varroa mite transition to management team to build beekeeper industry capability to effectively managing Varroa mite should it establish in Tasmania.

    The role is responsible for engaging with commercial and recreational beekeepers around hive health monitoring and all areas of Varroa mite management through formal and informal training.

Hours per fortnight:

73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Period of Appointment:

Duties:

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
