The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia's premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts.

Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training.

NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.


The Opportunity

The Front-of-House (FOH) & Events Manager is responsible for the management of the FOH Team, the planning and delivery of internal events and the management of FOH services for all events held in NIDA venues. The role leads NIDA's Front of House (FOH) team to provide an exceptional customer service experience to clients, patrons, visitors, and internal stakeholders. Through close collaboration with the NIDA Theatres team, Marketing, Partnerships and other departments, this role ensures that event operations, logistics and safety are effectively managed, and promotes a welcoming & professional experience for anyone coming to NIDA.

About You**
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in leading and administering a diverse team of employees, and motivating them to deliver excellent and consistent outcomes.**
You will have exceptional customer service skill, coupled with a calm and friendly can-do demeanor.

Experience in event planning and operation management of a multi-venue institution is essential for this role.
**Experience using operational logistics planning technologies is a plus.
