This is a part-time 3 - year contract. The position is 28 hours per week, over four days (negotiable). The base annual salary is $88,261.00 + 10.5% Superannuation (based on a 38 hour week).

**Description
The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia’s premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts. Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training. NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.

The Operations Manager is a key member of the team for the commercial division of NIDA, with a focus on venue management, external venue hire and local relationship building. You will collaborate with the Sydney and Melbourne teams to deliver short course programs for NIDA Open and Corporate, and develop new venue business opportunities.

Rostered evening or weekend work will be required, with additional hours during peak delivery periods, such as school holidays or major events. There will also be a requirement to travel to Sydney for training and meetings.

**Requirements**:
You will have experience in an administrative management role in arts, community or education programs, and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You may also have tertiary qualifications in arts management, business or education with advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CRM and finance packages.
