Cafe Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly & experienced cafe manager to join our friendly team.

This position is full time and will include working weekends, days only no nights shifts.

We are a trendy little cafe located in the heart of Kensington that has just undergone a beautiful new elegant and classy refurbishment that will make you feel like you are in Italy, situated in a beautiful sunny location close to all public transport and the new light rail.

**What we are looking for: -**
- Previous hospitality experience (cafe preferred)
- Be able to assist the team during busy times
- Barista experience
- Lead, drive and motivate the team to deliver incredible customer experience
- Be able to take leadership and have a can-do attitude
- Great communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- To create a welcoming and caring environment for customers
- Be able to resolve customer concerns and enquiries

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- ordering & keeping on top of stock/wastage
- training, educating & mentoring staff
- quality control
- hygiene & safety
- rosters
- Making sure communication runs smoothly between front of house and kitchen
- Great knowledge of our products / be loud and proud
- customer service with a smile
- Making cold and hot drinks
- Working on the register
- Presenting food/ table service
- Preparing display of products
- Keeping areas clean & tidy
- Leading the team

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
