The Opportunity - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Parental Leave Cover)


The National Account Executive (NAE) will be responsible for planning and leading activities, projects and processes that support the sell-out ambitions of the TPG/Vodafone account.

They will provide overall execution and operations support for the account team and be accountable for Sell-out achievement with a focus and ownership of the Mobile Enhancement (Wearable/Audio/Accessories) and Tablet product categories.

This involves overseeing the line sales execution and enablement programs/reporting and tracking, Retail Enhancement team communications and compliance support, along with general administrative tasks.


The NAE is the sales champion and a master of building relationships and trust which will enable the TPG/Vodafone account team to operate at maximum performance and efficiency whilst adhering to all internal processes and guidelines.

As a key member within the account team, the NAE has shared accountability to drive sales performance, the profitable achievement of goals, and for aligning sales objectives with a firm account strategy utilising internal category team, marketing and retail insights.

The NAE reports to the Account Director - TPG/Vodafone

Role and Responsibilities- Manage specified relationships internally and externally- Oversee/drive end-to-end performance of sell-out across all sales channels (Retail, SMB and digital)- Thought leadership in multi-product/bundle sales programs and initiatives- Host and prepare weekly meetings with sales team, field team and Category teams as required- Manage retail compliance to optimise sell-out- Assist/manage launch of all new Samsung products across TPG/Vodafone- Provide/collate sales channel performance insights to be shared across business groups- Adhere at all times to company policies and procedures in the completion of required duties

Retail- Sell-out achievement- Facilitation of alignment across the Samsung RET (Retail Enhancement Teams) and TPG- Key contact for the management of products, planograms, fixture updates, store lists Full ownership of retail execution and experience

Reporting- Conduct PIR's of campaigns to communicate overall effectiveness- ROI analysis of key tactical sales promotions and events- Support for quarterly account plan preparation

Operations- Build project plans to track progress and performance.- Create and maintain project documentation to support reporting requirements.- Work across multiple internal stakeholders including category, marketing and retail in order to ensure projects are delivered on time and with maximum amplification- Show fantastic operational skills to deliver projects and campaigns that are best in class, inside and outside of category- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget


Approvals and Other- Input and approval of Promotional approvals, D2Trade requests; seeding, live demonstration units.- Sample management; internal and external requests.- Risk management and escalations.

Skills and Qualifications- Open to state, territory or key account managers from various industries including FMCG, Consumer Goods, Computer Hardware and Technology (Hardware)- Measurable experience with having a positive impact on business outcomes, such as win rate, quota/target attainment- Experience in sales and have an understanding of the retail market within Australia- Excellent relationship building and communication skills- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
