About the role


Based in Brisbane or Sydney, your role as the Learning and Engagement Lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the training delivery resources and processes of Ventia's Training.

You will ensure the programs are delivered to a high standard of quality and are a positive experience for delivery staff and students.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the onboarding and effectiveness of the trainers, review their capability and delivery performance in line with quality framework
  • Ensure professional development opportunities are available and undertaken by the communities in consultation with business stakeholders
  • Manage continuous improvement projects and implement management strategies in line with business and industry requirements
  • Ensure feedback is reviewed, quality assurance checks are implemented, atrisk participants are engaged by trainers, champions, and internal training support teams
  • Contribute to development and execution of Training and Assessment Strategies, for nominated Sectors
  • Hold discussions with business stakeholders about future training needs and formulate impact analysis and plans
  • Research, develop and implement innovative ways to improve procedures and processes, and provide end user satisfaction
  • Coordinate formal validation and recommend continuous improvement. Recommend and schedule program updates in collaboration with SMEs and development team

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Hold a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, Diploma of Training Design and Development
  • Relevant leadership and management competencies
  • Experience with the national training system and with training delivery within a regulated quality framework
  • Ability to Influence and coach people's performance
  • Be able to understand how people acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required
  • Strategic thinker, delivering excellence for business requirements
  • Curious by nature with a desire to investigate, problem solve, and continuously learn new technologies
