About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our Learning and Development Strategy to create engaging and effective learning experiences that support our business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive and engaging learning programs that support skill development and capability uplift across the organization
  • Champion contemporary learning and instructional practices
  • Use technology to enhance learning experience and support a digitally enabled learning approach
  • Demonstrate measurable impact of the learning interventions delivered
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in an instructional design role, designing and developing digital, on-job, and face-to-face learning interventions
  • 3+ years' experience using e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, or Captivate to create engaging and interactive digital content
  • 3+ years' experience using video editing tools such as Tech Smith Camtasia or Adobe Premier Pro to plan, script, and produce instructional videos and multimedia content
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator would be highly desirable
  • Basic HTML and JavaScript knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience in UI/X design practices (i.e., Human-Centered Design methodology, Miro for Collaboration etc.)
  • Experience in project teams managing multiple tasks through to completion and managing progress reporting
  • Experience administering and deploying learning content in Learning Management Systems (LMS) either traditional or social platforms
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills when working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
  • Qualification (Bachelor's or Diploma) in Instructional/Graphic Design, Human Resources, or Technology-related disciplines
