What is your new role about?

We are searching for an eager Solutions Lead to lead, manage and facilitate the delivery of strategic project and change initiatives to improve customer services performance and deliver optimal service to Horizon Power customers.


Your new role will include:

Consultation with Stakeholders

  • Lead the engagement with internal stakeholders (all groups, all levels) and external suppliers/contractors to formulate system requirements and solutions that support the business requirements and needs of the business.
  • Seek endorsement from stakeholders on proposed solutions that deliver business needs, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.
  • Collaborate with, and facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate requirements and design solutions.
  • Structure and prioritise business requirements and communication plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers in accordance with Customer and Energy Charters.
Business Analysis / Project Management /Test

  • Take a lead role in the delivery of projects through business analysis, testing, training and project management skills and capabilities to support the Horizon business model.
  • Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business, organisational and/or operational requirements including strategic analysis and process improvement, via industry standard analysis techniques.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor project documentation in accordance with the project methodology.
  • Prepare test scripts and perform user acceptance testing prior to the implementation of change initiatives.
  • Develop and/or review monthly Project Status Reports and other project documentation and communicate to relevant stakeholders and management.
General.

  • Plan and coordinate activities with vendors to ensure delivery of required improvements to meet project milestones, within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and monitor the delivery of minor works contracts with guidance from the Systems and Process Manager.
  • Assist in the development of Board, Executive and PMM documentation (including business cases, change requests, status reports, budget forecasts and schedules), as well other documentation as required e.g., marketing materials, communications plans and Ministerial briefing notes.
  • Advise and report any compliance issues to the Customer Experience Management Team.

Our new Solutions Lead will have:

  • Hold a tertiary degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • WA Driver's Licence Class "C" or "C-A".
  • Demonstrated commercial focus with ability to identify and capture benefits of change
  • Ability to interrogate a data set and provide a concise analysis of that data, including key insights and communicating to a wide audience.
  • Understanding of Agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Understanding of Project Management Methodologies (PMBOK, PMP).
  • Requirements gathering using industry standard techniques.
  • Process mapping asis and tobe.
  • Managing UAT including creation of testing plan, test cases and scripts.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Change management of project deliverables.
