About The Role
We are currently seeking a Talent Coordinator - NSW to join our high performing Recruitment team. This role can be based in either our Sydney or Newcastle office.

Working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of all candidate pre-employment checks and on boarding activities for WHC employee's both domestically and internationally. This is a fast paced and varied role where no two days are the same

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and send new employment contracts, ensuring these are stored appropriately, for domestic and international candidates
  • Support with monitoring of the preferred recruitment tools including XRef and CV Check
  • Manage the referral program to ensure referrals are contacted and payments are made to referrer
  • Manage the labour hire transfer process across Whitehaven
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for prospective candidates and employees to attend site visits
  • Provide support / updates to the Recruitment Business Partners in the coordination of candidates in the onboarding process
  • Initiate and manage the completion of new starter onboarding, ensuring all requirements are completed prior to the employee commencing

What You'll Bring

  • Previous exposure to HR / Talent coordination and / or strong administration background
  • Qualifications in business administration (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
