  • Reporting to the Customer Engagement Leader, the Customer Engagement Officer (Social Support) will deliver excellent customer service to our clients, by providing regular care calls for social contact, social inclusion and emotional wellbeing. To provide a friendly voice to someone who may live alone, is housebound, socially isolated or recovering from an illness or accident. To provide personcentred support that aligns with the Organisation's Values, Vision and Mission.
  • You will also:
  • Ensure calls are meeting the clients need for social contact
  • Ensure calls are personalised that suit their interests
  • Monitor, prioritise and action referrals
  • Ensure all client data is effectively gathered and completed to a high standard
  • Knowledge of the products and services available within Anglicare At Home.

This is a fixed term part time opportunity - 30 hours in a week

Skills, knowledge and experience needed:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Community Services or equivalent
  • Previous experience in Homecare/Community/Aged Care
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
