It's an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance.

We are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often.

To help us achieve these goals we are looking for an Event Support Administrator to join our team at Tennis Victoria, on a permanent full-time basis and contribute to the growth of tennis across the state.


Reporting to the Events Lead, in this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support and engaging with a variety of different stakeholders to deliver state and zone level tennis events.

You will assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of a range of Tennis Victoria delivered events, as well as support third party event providers, to ensure a consistent approach to event delivery.

About the role

  • In this role you will;_
  • Provide highlevel administrative and operational support to the delivery and evaluation of Tennis Victoria State level events and community events, including State Championships, Regional Team Events, and Country Week
  • Support the administration of endorsed events, ensuring strategic alignment with Tennis Victoria
  • Assist in the delivery of Super 10's and other player development programs, including the selection for State Teams
  • Work with the Competitive Play team to administer the annual calendar of events and leagues
  • Educate and support key stakeholders with Tournament Planner and League Manager Software
About you

  • What you will bring to the role:_
  • Demonstrated experience in competition or event delivery with a strong understanding of Tournament Planner software programs is essential
  • An understanding of League Manager competition software or similar is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • An understanding of the tennis environment and the various stakeholders it engages
  • High computer literacy with strong administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work for Tennis Victoria
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Driver's License
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
