The Community Strengthening division promotes and enhances community well-being through funding programs, service provision and community partnerships.
The Arts, Culture and Venues Branch, sits within this division and is responsible for managing the use of Council owned buildings and open spaces, issuing permits for Events and supporting the arts and cultural vibrancy of the City.
Our team are seeking a vibrant Events Permit Officer.You will be responsible for the administration of Event Permits and open space bookings and will be required to assess, issue and monitor Event Permits for public spaces to ensure compliant events.
A broad range of tasks will be required to successfully undertake this role including high quality customer service, strong administration skills including overseeing a booking system management, liaison with internal and external customers, payment processing and permit assessment.
