The role of the

Brand Manager T2 & Premium RTDT is to lead and drive the innovation program and premiumization agenda for the business in ANZ for Pepsi Lipton. Including the crafting, delivery and deployment of best-in-class marketing mixes aligning them with bottler to drive top line growth.

Responsibilities:

The role works across many key senior stakeholder groups and will play an important role in bringing next generation innovations to the JV business

Specific activities include:

  • Lead, develop and deliver complex, breakthrough/ next generation innovation projects
  • Work closely with CMI in developing consumer insights to drive demand driven innovation platforms. Qualify innovation ideas to fill innovation funnels and drive incremental growth.
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams and regional teams to develop positioning, product profile, packaging profile, graphics, full marketing mix and business cases.
  • Support development of innovation strategy based on consumer trends, business issues, segment opportunities, and competitor threats.
  • Is the brand steward and "Shopper and Consumer" insight expert (alongside CMI) for trends and consumer insights
  • Develop an integrated brand communication plan and implementing the right support model
  • Implement the Brand Marketing Plan in ANZ markets: media buying, activation development and deployment, monitoring, optimisation. leveraging bottler's execution system
  • Marketing ownership for AFH (Away from home) Channel activation and communication program
  • Being the point of contact for the projects in the cluster for all marketing related activities across all stakeholders (Pepsi, Unilever, Bottling System, Joint Venture)

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in brand, with experience in Brand Development/Innovation and brand building /digital marketing
  • Clear demonstration of delivering business results
  • Demonstrates clear consumer insight, analytical skills, and breakthrough thinking; Ability to turn insights to ideas and growth opportunities
  • A strategic and business thinker, who has deep understanding of 3 C's (Consumer, Customer, Competition), trends, practices, information and insights impacting the business, enabling sound decisions to be made. Can focus the team and organization on the right issues to deliver targeted business results.
  • Ability to break through the status quo, resolve uncertainty and pivot quickly. Skilful at navigating a complex, matrix dualcompany organisation to drive clarity, alignment and accountability
  • Strong influencing and people management skills ability to engage/motivate colleagues and stakeholders behind a project
  • Strong discipline of deploying 360 marketing programmes
  • Proven ability to manage a matrix organization (crossfunctional / crossborder)
