The opportunity:

The Internal Communications Manager

(12 month fixed term contract due to an internal secondment) is accountable for creating and executing internal communications to improve employees' understanding of, and connection with, Bupa's strategy. Through communications, you'll inspire and engage our people across Asia Pacific about Bupa's growth and how we're delivering on our ambition to be the most customer-centric healthcare company.

How will I help?

  • Create and deliver an APACwide internal communications strategy and plan to bring to life core elements of Bupa's strategy in line with the corporate narrative, values and brand.
  • Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business on matters requiring enterprisewide internal communications.
  • Develop and implement creative content (written, video, audio and visual) that conveys simply and effectively our progress on delivering core elements of the strategy.
  • Measure reach and impact of content, campaigns and events and use insights to drive continual improvement.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team and internal communications network in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong to understand their communications plans and activations to strategically plan content and maximise impact.

What do I need?


Ideally you have a degree level qualification in communications or a related field, you are tech savvy, with a record of achievement in a communications lead role in a complex, matrixed corporate entity.

You are a master of articulate language, that will work with our stakeholders to create extraordinary internal communications outcomes.

You have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, including experience in partnering with key stakeholders globally and writing for different audiences and scenarios.
