Your New Role:


The Internal Communications Manager will develop and implement communication strategies that connect and align our workforce with our strategy, values, leaders, and business.

They will manage and drive key Group channels, support employee engagement and work with P&C to activate the listening strategy.


  • Develop integrated internal communications strategy in alignment with the People Strategy and Group Scorecard.
  • Engage with stakeholders in P&C, Platforms and Enabling Functions to manage a Groupwide internal content calendar.
  • Manage and craft content for core Group Channels, key campaigns, and strategic announcements.
  • Work with the Office of Group Managing Director to prepare and distribute major GMD announcements.
  • Plan and manage the Homepage and Employee News sections of the Intranet, aligned with the internal communications strategy.
  • Develop communications initiatives to continue to enhance and embed the EVP and People Strategy.
  • Provide best practice advice on internal communications logistics to support capability uplift across the Platforms and Enabling Functions, including preparing reference guides, toolkits and templates.
  • Develop best practice processes for the Platforms and Enabling Functions/SMEs to maintain Intranet content.
  • Provide communications expertise to support "icon" employee engagement initiatives (eg. launch of a new employee benefits program).
  • Work with People & Culture teams to support and activate 'always
- on' and pulse Listening program through various channels.

About You:

  • Tertiary degree qualification preferably in communications, public relations, marketing or a related business field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a communications, public relations or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to create purposedriven integrated communication strategies and plans.
  • Experience in sourcing content and managing a complex calendar across various channels and strategic priorities.
  • Autonomous worker with proven capability to selfdrive and prioritise multiple projects under limited direction and support.
  • Ability to take detailed briefs or complex information and transform into engaging, easy to understand communications material.
  • Tech savvy and highly capable, with experience using content management systems, the Microsoft Office suite, Sharepoint online and Staffbase a key requirement
  • Experience in working with a variety of stakeholders, across seniority levels within a large organisation.
  • Ability to craft high quality content in a fastpaced environment with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
