ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

We are a busy and dynamic clinic where you will provide full support to the doctors in their private practice within Mercy Hospital for Women.


  • Permanent parttime position available x3 days per week (24hrs per week), plus availability to cover leave
  • Daytoday running of busy doctors clinics, answering phones / liaising with doctors regarding patient enquiries, booking appointments, manage referrals, detailed diary management, following up results and reports
  • Meet and greet patients, invoicing and payments
  • Liaising with other staff within Mercy Hospital for Women and other key stakeholders / health services / hospitals

ABOUT YOU:

  • Excellent customer services and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Prior admin experience including complex diary management
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills including initiative and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to learn new medical computer systems

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services.

We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
