Job Summary

Maryvale Private Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Administrative Services Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the reception areas, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors.
  • Provide administrative and medical record support as needed, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard, responding to calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the admission and discharge process, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Manager to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills, with ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, including occasional weekend shifts.
