What you'll
do


Reporting to the QLD Specialty Care Manager, you will have full ownership and accountability for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive business plan to support best treatment outcomes for patients with respiratory illness.

This is a North Queensland Territory, encompassing North Brisbane to Cairns.

Your responsibilities will be broad and will include:

  • Identifying, building and developing relationships with key specialists, clinicians & health care professionals in the respiratory field
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan and delivering on brand strategy
  • Working as part of a high performing and collaborative team to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
  • Develop and implement effective account plans, analysing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes
  • Establishing and developing effective commercial relationships to promote and competitively sell our respiratory products
  • Working in partnership with AstraZeneca commercial and medical teams to deliver objectives in line with strategic objectives
  • Continuing to expand your knowledge in the respiratory therapeutic area

Essential for the role

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales roles with an applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment
  • Proven track record of engaging and developing lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders in complex clinical environments
  • Strategic mindset complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Commitment to delivering a superior, impactful customer experience with a willingness to try a variety of different channels, tools and technologies
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and demonstrated crossfunctional leadership

Desirable for the role

  • Respiratory therapeutic area experience (preferred)
  • Established relationships with a broad base of external customers in the QLD health network, including prescribers, payers and clinicians.
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in life sciences, medical, pharmacy or a related field
