Our client is a well recognised global leader with supplying and supporting packaging and processing equipment in the food industry. With there Head Office in Melbourne they have additional offices in QLD, NSW, WA and SA providing a truly national service footprint.

They currently have a newly created position of National Sales Manager within there Bakery division. This role is responsible for overseeing all sales activities across the country, including guiding and supervising the sales team, preparing sales reports, monitoring the CRM system and setting budgets.

Reporting to the General Manager the main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all sales related matters on a national level.
  • Successful performance and profit generation for the company by overseeing regional sales
  • Setting goals/budgets for sales team members
  • Create and develop sales programs for the National sales team
  • Ensure successful achievement of the company's sales goals across all regions
  • Preparation of sales reports
  • Sales at all levels and Key account Management
  • Liaising with all Third-Party Partners
  • Reporting on all sales activities to Third Party suppliers
  • Marketing initiatives and developing effective strategy for Marketing
  • Attending of exhibitions both locally and Internationally
  • Travel interstate and internationally as required for the position.
Experience required:
  • Bakery industry knowledge is essential for the position.
  • Sales experience in similar role is preferred.
  • Experience with leading a team and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Key account Management
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and work flexible hours as required;
  • Current Drivers Licence; and
  • A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
