Add expected salary to your profile for insights The National Sales Manager manages the ISS Sales Department to enhance the company's revenue returns while maintaining Toshiba's focus of providing quality products with a reputation for reliability and support services that ensure customers operational security.

It does this by developing and delivering a strategic sale and marketing plan while implementing contemporary sales and account development methodologies, encourage, coach and mentor individuals.

Key tasks and responsibilities Sales and Business Development Strategy Work alongside TIC Senior Leaders to set the ISS sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets, Plan and implement the execution of agreed short and long-term sales and marketing strategy, Manage client relationship activities including sales call planning and follow-up procedures for sales team to implement.

Manage the regional sales teams to develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts and achieving maximum returns from those accounts Support the development of new products and specialised services while identifying new market opportunities with regional sales teams, Analyse, establish and achieve the maximum potential for the company's range of products in various markets consistent with the company's strategic marketing plans and growth objectives Implement sales and marketing strategies as agreed with Branch Manager / Sales Manager and Product Manager to ensure budget and gross margin is obtained Assist TIC executive with monthly, quarterly and annual sales and budget forecasts In conjunction with ISS Management & Product Groups - Set and maintain sales team budget.

Work with product managers and logistics to ensure stock levels are continually monitored and maintained in the Branch and regional stores.

Position Sales team staff to assist as and when necessary, in internal sales, stores, stock control and office administration.

Team Management Lead and manage the Sales teams to fulfil the ISS sales strategy and targets Recruit, guide and develop staff to meet the objectives of their role and develop into long-term contributors to the business Oversee all employee life-cycle processes such as recruitment, KPI setting, appraisal and performance management Administer performance-based appraisals for each member of the sales team centred on.

Individual contribution to the overall performance of the team.
Extraordinary responses to difficult customer issues.
Contribution to Customer Lifetime Value.
Managing and assisting with Customer Retention.
Managing and assisting with new Customer Acquisition Strategic Sales management associated activities and outcomes.
Quotation conversion rates.
Capability to value add to the sales process.
Sales growth within each territory.
Revenue and gross margin results for each territory.
Support for and co-operation with TIC's executive management, product groups and internal administration teams.

Customer Relationships Help create and maintain a powerful "Brand" At the executive level participate in and contribute to Corporate and Media related publications and activities.

Encourage and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel representing TIC's major customer base Re-examine current relationships and develop new business from old customers.

Focus on customer collaboration, encourage participation in major projects and activities as a partner and not just a supplier.
Ensure and measure customer satisfaction and act swiftly to address any outstanding issues.
Continually analyse performance results and be prepared to revise strategies as required.

Lead the bid/quotation processes within the Sales team, including setting and communicating the framework within which sales associates can negotiate commercial conditions for orders and contracts awarded to TICEncourage continuous survey of the territory's budget and gross margin objectives while ensuring that all members are aware of company expectations, group targets and results Engage with internal and external stakeholders on tenders and developing projects ensuring the strongest possible proposals are supported by the executive & product groups.

With internal and external stakeholders create and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential opportunities including pre-qualification and associated client support to maximise TIC's long term revenue objectives.

Assist in the planning, organising and growth of each sales region.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies Monitor and analyse each regions performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.

Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs Skills, Qualifications and Competencies Tertiary qualifications in marketing and / or business, coupled with an electrical background and or previous electrical trade experience.

At least 5 years' experience in both sales management and heavy industry electrical experience Demonstrated experience in both strategic and day-to-day sales leadership.

Leadership, engagement and influencing skills.
Strategic development experience and the ability to present a commercially viable business case.
The ability to embrace complexity by providing clarity of focus on key priorities.
The ability to effectively manage complex negotiations.
A commitment to customer value and service excellence.
