Be challenged and imagine with us:

As the Risk and Resilience Coordinator, you will manage the University's annual business continuity program and guide key leaders to develop, implement, test, and enhance incident-specific response plans, and business continuity plans.

You will be responsible for five high level functions:


  • Advice
  • guide leaders, managers, and staff on their business continuity plans.

Coordination - assist in development of the annual, risk-based business continuity management (BCM) program by collaborating with key stakeholders.

Capability Development - develop and deliver role-based BCM training to enhance individual and organisational capability and confidence.
-
Governance - develop progress reports of the BCM program to relevant committees.
-
Response - provide guidance to Incident Management Teams and the Critical Incident Team when required.

  • This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

The remuneration for this position is from $91, % superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

Reporting to the Manager, Risk Services, the central Risk Services team works collaboratively across the University to develop effective enterprise risk management that is aligned with the expectations of the University Council.

The Risk & Resilience Coordinator is expected to work collaboratively with the range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • A degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in a specialist expertise; or a combination of relevant experience and or education/training.
  • Demonstrated business continuity knowledge and experience, including understanding of the Business Continuity Lifecycle or BIA, BCP, and BCM
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including the capacity to build relationships and an interdisciplinary way of working with a demonstrated ability to plan effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with crossfunctional teams, manage multiple projects and deliver expected outcomes within competing deadlines.
