    About NCIG

Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (NCIG) has been connecting coal mines from the Hunter Valley, Gunnedah, Gloucester, and Western Coalfields of New South Wales to international coal export markets since 2010.

Located at Kooragang Island, their operations include rail, coal storage, ship loading facilities and associated infrastructure which is connected to the Port of Newcastle.


About the opportunity

NCIG are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement and Contracts Coordinator to join the team for a 10-12-month term, commencing around the end of September 2023.

This role has become available as backfill, due to a new ERP implementation project that the current Coordinator will be seconded to.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the Procurement and Contracts Specialist, this role is primarily responsible for providing assistance with procurement, contract preparation, contract administration and renewals, as well as supporting all aspects of the contracting life cycle

Key tasks include:
Assisting with tender processes- Execution of low-risk request for quotes and proposals- Monitoring and management of contract renewals- Maintenance of systems- Reporting and analysis- General administrative support
