How will I help?
The purpose of this role will be to oversee practices for monitoring for conduct, sales & lending practices across Commercial Relationship Banking (CRB), and reporting on process, performance and customer feedback, contributing to best-in-class delivery and monitoring of frameworks, processes and controls to support effective management of the risk environment.
The role will see you working closely with Senior CRB stakeholders to support the implementing monitoring frameworks and tools to uplift capability and drive consistency across the brands.
The role will help drive a close working relationship with the Executive Manager Monitoring, Senior CRB stakeholders and Second Line of Risk teams, as well with other key stakeholders across the Group.
You will enjoy partnering with stakeholders and will bring a pragmatic approach to drive and develop a risk first culture and awareness in day-to-day business decisions and business strategic initiatives.
This includes promoting and driving a robust risk and controls culture that optimises risk and reward, and ensures risk and compliance are key considerations in business decisions to help achieve business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Ensure the divisional and business risk management and conduct frameworks, metrics, priorities and strategies align to the Group risk frameworks, strategy and appetite.
- Oversee practices for monitoring and reporting of process performance and customer feedback.
- Support the implementing monitoring frameworks and tools in order to uplift capability and drive consistency across the brands.
- Deploy quality assurance monitoring related to customer complaints and relevant sales practices.
- Provide insights related to Commercial Relationship Banking's adherence to Conduct standards.
- Support the Executive Manager to provide the business with guidance on control uplift and embedment relating to conduct, sales and lending practices in line with Group standards.
- Identify common controls across line of business teams that can be standardised/centralised relating to conduct, sales and lending practices in line with Group standards.
- Support the coordination of sales and lending practices rectification and remediation including support to Commercial Relationship Banking teams to enable effective and efficient risk management, including timely issue resolution.
- Drive timely incident management and rectification related to conduct and conflict of interest matters.
- Ensure all regulatory obligations for Commercial Relationship Banking relating to conflicts of interest, sales and lending practices are reported per Group standards.
