We are seeking a highly skilled Security Monitoring Manager to join our Cyber Security Operations team at KPMG Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's data and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement detection methods, behavioural models, and use cases to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Analyse digital evidence to support investigations into security incidents and provide expert recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage the operation of data collection and analysis systems to support threat detection activities.
- Develop and implement risk prevention, deterrence, and detection methodologies to identify and mitigate potential human-related risks and suspicious anomalous activity.
- Provide information and intelligence to support strategic advice to the business.
- Extensive experience in investigations and investigation management.
- Strong understanding of threat tactics, threat detection techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools, data analysis, and insider threat response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data and identify trends.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
