Anglicare Children's Services are leading providers of high quality education and care, by providing support and loving service to children and families, particularly those most in need within our community.
We are looking for people studying their degrees (any type) to come and join our diverse and trauma informed team here at Anglicare at Southern Cross Early Childhood School, in Scullin ACT.
We provide a long day care service to children 6 weeks to five years; the Out of School Hours and School Holiday Programs for the children attending the school.
Our programs operate between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm weekdays (excluding ACT public holidays and a 2 week shut down over the Christmas/New Year period).
This is the perfect position to slot in and around your university time table, and complements the study in which you are undertaking as well.
Because we are co-located on ACT Education Directorate school grounds, you will get a snippet of what life is like within a school setting, and provide children with excellent learning outcomes in an Outside School Hours Program.
Even if you are not studying teaching, this position still does complement university timetables well.
The hourly rate for this role is $ $30.32 (depending on qualification) with a split shift allowance, plus 10.5% employer superannuation guarantee.
