We work closely with our national membership base, which includes Australia's leading businesses, community organisations, government departments and academic institutions.
Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Events Coordinator to join our Adelaide-based team. As part of our state-based team in Adelaide, you will be working with a nationally diverse Programming team in delivering end-to-end events logistics and managing ad hoc day-to-day office operations.
The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years' experience in event management and coordination and possess excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
You will be responsible for supporting and administering face-to-face and digital event planning, marketing and pre, during and post-event delivery, including speaker liaison, venue booking, AV, supplier coordination, onsite setup and registration, on-the-day staff supervision, livestream tech rehearsals etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Coordination: Support and administer face-to-face and digital event planning, marketing and pre, during and post-event delivery.
- Building and Publishing Events: Build, publish and market events as per programming and marketing deadlines using the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and CMS.
- Sponsor Relationship Management: Support sponsor relationships by managing deliverables according to contract arrangements for events.
- Customer Service: Provide daily customer service contact and response to enquiries around events as well as wider CEDA activities, including regularly managing the events inbox as part of an all-team schedule.
- Ad Hoc Office Management Activities: Deliver effective daily operation, including ordering/receiving office provisions, WHS requirements and engagement with building management and external suppliers.
What We Offer
A salary commensurate with experience and skills, plus a range of benefits, including flexible working conditions, additional week of leave at year-end, wellbeing leave and flexible Floating public holidays, 12 weeks paid parental leave, 20 days paid family and domestic violence leave, commitment to learning and development, Employee Assistance Program, Salary Packaging benefits, and hybrid working.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2+ years' experience in event management and coordination, excellent time management and prioritisation skills, experience and confidence in engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, high level accuracy, efficiency and organisational skills combined with strong verbal and written communication skills, and a keen interest in current and emerging public policy issues.
How You'll Thrive
You'll love this role if you're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collegiate team effort and alignment to CEDA values (brave, curious, trust, succeed together, passionate for our member and the greater good).
