Position Title: Stakeholder Engagement Advisor
Location: Adelaide CBD
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Employment Type: Full-time
Hourly Rate:$58.53 + superannuation

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, this role is crucial in supporting the development, implementation, and management of stakeholder engagement strategies and risk mitigation activities. You will be involved in minimising impacts and maximizing benefits for the community while supporting the effective delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a successful and capable team by providing input into decision-making and problem-solving. Foster a team-focused culture with customers at the heart.
  • Safety Culture: Promote a positive safety culture, taking responsibility for your own and others’ safety and well-being.
  • Stakeholder Risk Management: Develop and deliver risk-based stakeholder engagement strategies for project delivery. Participate in project teams, offer engagement advice, and facilitate meetings to support stakeholder involvement.
  • Community Liaison: Liaise with the community and stakeholders to share information and support project delivery. Enhance the reputation of our organization through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Communication Materials: Develop and distribute communication materials such as letters, newsletters, and reports. Maintain project-related databases and influence project outcomes by linking stakeholders with decision-makers.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Planning, Community Development, or equivalent experience.
    • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Effective liaison and negotiation skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of State and local government processes and requirements.
    • Experience in communications related to infrastructure projects.

Special Conditions:

  • Flexible hours and occasional after-hours work may be required.
  • Some intra and interstate travel may be necessary.
  • Initial and subsequent medical clearances and immunisations will be required.
  • A current driver’s licence is mandatory.
  • Clearance checks may be required, including criminal police checks and working with children/vulnerable people clearances.
