**THE ROLE**:
The Adviser, Diversity and Inclusion is responsible for the supporting the delivery of our diversity and inclusion strategy and programs. You will be joining the People team and working with your HR colleagues and other internal stakeholders to initiatives and programs that support a safe and inclusive work environment.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- ** **Program Management** - you will work within a high performing team and be responsible for supporting the delivery of the D&I Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan at Austrade. This program includes developing actions plans, running events and training activities (e.g. Reconciliation and NAIDOC week activities for Austrade with the Indigenous Champions), managing the RAP Working group and D&I Champion meetings and managing D&I Austrade Live sessions.
- **Stakeholder Engagement** - you will work closely with internal and external partners (e.g. AND, DCA, Pride, JAWUN, Services Australia, Reconciliation Australia) to deliver a high-quality a D&I program to Austrade staff. Ability to think from an employee and manager’s perspective and how performance practices can be sustainably embedded into their work.
- ** Reports **- you will draft reports that utilise various information sources to inform strategic priorities for D&I.
- **Research** - you will conduct relevant research.
- **Collaboration** - you will work collaboratively with your colleagues in the People group to share knowledge and support continual process improvement.
- ** Delivery -** you will manage the day-to-day delivery of the D&I strategy within the agency including the implementation and communications for the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and the Reconciliation Action Plan, maintaining action items, managing the D&I events calendar and Champions Action list on Teams, organising and promoting D&I events and training for staff across the global network, managing the D&I Portal on the HUB, including the Indigenous, Disability, Gender, Mental Health, CALD, and LGBTQI+ Portals and Teams Channels, coordinating regular D&I updates with Internal Comms, coordinating Indigenous and Disability recruitment, graduate and mentoring programs and supporting the Senior Adviser of Inclusion and Wellbeing and wider team activities as required.
- **Evaluation** - you will analyse available data to identify recommendations for program improvements.
