About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team at Adelaide Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering effective strategic communications and stakeholder engagement activities to support the successful delivery of our Capital Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Stakeholder Engagement Plans: Create and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans to ensure internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the Capital Plan delivery process.
  • Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Foster positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including airport tenants, concessions, retail, and food and beverage operators, to promote collaboration and alignment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and disseminate communication materials, including reports, updates, and notifications, to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various departments to collect accurate data and updates, and to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide Strategic Advice: Offer strategic advice on stakeholder relationships and reputation management to ensure the airport's reputation is protected and enhanced.
  • Manage Stakeholder Issues: Identify and manage stakeholder issues, including complaints and concerns, to ensure they are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and Mentor the Stakeholder Team: Manage, develop, and mentor the stakeholder team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver effective stakeholder engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, project management, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement or communications, with proven ability to develop engagement plans, manage projects, and handle contentious issues.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership qualities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Communication Skills: Well-developed and effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the aviation industry and its unique challenges, as well as the construction industry.
