About the Role

Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) is seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Customer and Community Experience team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing best practice engagement programs that inform our national Access Arrangement submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans to support our national Access Arrangement submissions.
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and identification to enhance our engagement strategies.
  • Prepare and coordinate engagement activities, including managing committees, reference groups, and customer workshops.
  • Collaborate with key contractors to execute engagement activities effectively.
  • Develop documents, publications, and reports for consultation and customer insights.
  • Design and deliver face-to-face and online engagement activities that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal teams on matters related to Access Arrangement customer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular and meaningful contact.
  • Support the development and delivery of AGIG's renewable gas engagement activities and business-as-usual engagement model.
  • Contribute to external strategic communications, including industry presentations and ESG reporting.
  • Manage and monitor stakeholder engagement budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in public consultation processes and engagement activities.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience leading or supporting the delivery of engagement activities, including managing committees and facilitating workshops.
  • Experience in a regulated business environment, particularly within the energy sector.
  • Proficient in digital communications and online engagement platforms.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups effectively.
