About the Role

Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our Government & Stakeholder Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engagement and communications across AEMO's stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, improvement, and adoption of AEMO's customer relationship management (CRM) system to enhance stakeholder insights and targeting.
  • Maintain accurate account records and interactions within AEMO's CRM.
  • Develop and produce consistent, high-quality content and materials for stakeholder communications.
  • Organize engagement forums and committees, including agendas, minutes, and formal documents.
  • Review and improve stakeholder engagement systems, guidelines, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and stakeholder mapping.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a small to medium-sized organization and complex infrastructure/service delivery organizations.
  • Experience providing digital support in a stakeholder engagement environment.
  • Experience developing stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including effective written communications.
  • A process improvement mindset, identifying opportunities for new efficiencies.
  • A strong passion for building and sustaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
