Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Leader Business Services to oversee and enhance the operational and strategic aspects of their Arts, Events, and Cultural Venues. This role is ideal for someone who excels in providing leadership and developing efficient systems and processes to ensure exceptional service delivery and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, providing strategic leadership and support to concierge, venue, and business operations teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Facility Development: Offer strategic and operational guidance for new facilities and upgrades to existing ones.
  • Process and System Development: Create and maintain effective service and venue-based processes, systems, budgets, and performance measures.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for increasing venue usage and revenue, and develop actionable plans for implementation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop, monitor, and evaluate service delivery and operational performance to meet organizational expectations.
  • Financial Reporting: Coordinate and provide regular financial and statistical reports for the unit.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a positive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Implement and maintain effective risk management practices in line with the client's policies.

Skills Required:

  • Proven ability to manage and lead operational and business functions within arts and cultural venues.
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, with experience in facility development and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with a focus on enhancing venue and service efficiency.
  • Recent National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months).

  • Applicants must commit to rosters with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
  • This role is only open to candidates with full work rights in Australia.
