NextGen Jobs is hiring a Business Administration Trainee to support the Wyndham City Council. Do you have an interest in working for the council while earning a Certificate III in Business Administration?

This 12 month traineeship based in Werribee provides administrative and project support to the Service Development & Strategy Team.

**About the Team**:
The Service Development & Strategy Team Unit is a dedicated and dynamic team that supports the Community Support Department and each service within it to design, develop and implement projects that enable an integrated, contemporary and innovative support system for residents across their life course.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide general administration and project support to the Coordinator and across the team.
- Provide administration support with key projects and events such as the Transition Conversation Event, the Early Years Matters Conference, Platforms community engagement and consultation workshops.
- Provide administration support with key strategic projects including the Community Support Department Plan, Lifecourse Framework and Family Friendly Charter.
- Undertake tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, creating templates and document organisation.
- Recording of files in the Council’s Document Management system.
- Provide a positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the Service Development & Strategy team.
- Support and liaise with contractors and consultants.
- Carry out other duties commensurate with skills and abilities as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directed from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- **Must be living in or studying in Wyndham**:

- Current Victorian driver’s licence - This position may be required to work at other sites across Wyndham City.
- Proof of Double Covid Vaccination
