We are currently looking for a Revenue Compliance Officer. This is a Permanent Full-Time role based in our St Leonards Sydney Office. 

About the role:

The Revenue Compliance Officer supports the Revenue Compliance Team by managing administrative tasks related to the areas which the team is responsible for. The primary focus of the Revenue Compliance Officer is to ensure Resident Agreements and RAD Refunds are executed in accordance with Bolton Clarkes business rules and legislative requirements, and assisting the team in ensuring discrepancies are identified and reported on in a timely manner

  • General
    • Monitor the RAD Refunds inbox
    • Maintain the Key Personnel Register
    • Prepare applications to DoH to cease disqualified staff as Key Personnel
    • Update and maintain the key personnel register to ensure police checks and insolvency checks are completed
    • Maintain the Medicare Users register
    • Prepare applications to Medicate to activate / cease users as required
    • Assist the compliance/revenue departments with allocated tasks as required
  • Contract Compliance
    • Review Admission Reports to ensure resident profiles and billing are set up in accordance with the corresponding Resident Agreements
    • Ensure admission letters are issued to permanent residents
    • Ensure documentation is completed by the home and report discrepancies
    • Record discrepancies and issues with Resident Agreements and report to the Revenue Compliance Manager
    • Monitor the outstanding contracts register and follow up outstanding contracts with the relevant home
  • Round Estimates
    • Review Discharge Reports and resident accounts to complete the first calculation register
    • Generate departure letters and forward to Residents NOK fortnightly
    • Forward information to solicitors regarding resident estates to assist in applications of probate on request
  • RAD Refunds
    • Generate Means Tested Care Fee Reconciliations for departed residents according to business rules
    • Assist the Revenue Compliance Manager in administering RAD Refunds
    • Update the Refund Register
    • Forward refund cheques according to received correspondence
    • Upload refund information to IRIS/TRAX

What do we need from you?

  • Knowledge pertaining to Aged Care billing/contracts (desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of two COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Bachelor degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar
