Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Revenue Analyst? Join our diverse business that specializes in providing Data, Technology, and Consulting services to the healthcare industry. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team at our North Sydney office.
As a Revenue Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing revenue performance for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, including GAAP and SOX standards. You will collaborate with finance and sales teams to streamline revenue accounting processes and optimize revenue recognition.
Key responsibilities:
- Review contract documentation to ensure compliance with ASC 606 Revenue recognition standards and validate sales opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts in accordance with IQVIA payment/billing standards and group policies.
- Accurately record annual, multiyear, and ad-hoc contracts in SAP.
- Oversee the month-end revenue close process, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and preparing reports.
- Monitor deferred revenue balances to ensure revenue compliance.
- Provide support during internal and external audit processes, including preparation work, issue explanation, and provision of supporting materials and procedures.
- Develop and maintain financial and operational reports to monitor performance, identify trends, anomalies, and focus areas, providing valuable business insights using tools such as Hyperion, SAP, and SFDC.
- Conduct training sessions on finance policies and business processes for new and existing employees.
- Maintain our customer relationship management tools (SFDC) through tasks such as dashboard reporting, data maintenance, account allocations, and product groups and hierarchy management.
Key requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce, or economics.
- 2+ years of experience in financial or commercial analytical roles.
- Previous experience with SAP, SFDC, GAAP, and SOX audits is a must.
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to effectively analyze and interpret large amounts of financial information.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, energetic, flexible, commercially focused, and possesses a can-do attitude.
