As the Quality & Compliance Officer, you will report to our Executive Lead Quality & Risk and partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders of our high-growth business. You will support the business, providing critical expertise to deliver reporting and education to our growing team of over 400 Disability Support Workers

**In this role you will**:
- Analyse information extracted from MLC's Quality Management System to identify trends and provide meaningful data to Board Reports.
- Educate our growing team to drive QMS adoption and best practice.
- Maintain registers for incidents, risks and continuous improvement, to ensure that they are actioned.
- Lead the internal audits, in collaboration with the relevant Supervisors and Team Leaders (may incur travel to our SIL houses)
- Support MLC in the delivery of high quality, person centred care that is aligned to the legislation, best practice and compliant with the National Framework.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Restrictive Practices and how it is changing rapidly
- Organise and provide documentation for RP panels
- Contribute to selection and implementation of a CMS tool
**You will bring**:
- We are looking for someone who can work autonomously with a demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, and maintain close working relationships with our ELT and stakeholders.
- Experience in QMS reporting
- Ideally have experience of working within the Disability sector / NDIS.
- A commitment to provide high quality customer service. Resilience and ability to prioritise effectively.
- Understanding of the NDIS Commission including NDIS Commission portal, reportable incidents, and positive behaviour support.
- An understanding of restrictive practices (RP’s) & an interest in deepening this knowledge.
