Your Opportunity

We have a newly vacant Senior Document Controller role in our growing Integrated Solutions Group.

This role is within the Portfolio Performance department, who lead our business across key strategies in relation to cost intelligence, portfolio governance, transformation, and commercial.

In this role you will provide subject matter expertise and services in records management and control, to support optimised portfolio, program and project outcomes across the planning and delivery of our infrastructure capital investment projects.

You’ll provide advice to internal customers and stakeholders in senior in accordance with established standards to support the achievement of organisational objectives through a ‘one team’ approach.

Some of your accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure the management of several document streams by working in alignment with the Urban Utilities document management system.

  • Manage key aspects of the data management system.

  • Develop, test and maintain policies, procedures and standards to support the organisation in the implementation of, and compliance with, internal policies and/or external regulations.

  • Provide advice, training and assistance to users to resolve queries and ensure the document management capabilities are well understood by the business.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Urban Utilities and provide direction and support to others with regards to document records management processes.

  • Contribute to the review of existing Portfolio Performance systems and processes and implement innovative processes to generate new ideas and ensure that Portfolio Performance achieves its purpose.

About You

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  • Advanced user with Microsoft applications and have familiarity with the Public Records Act that underpins information standards.

  • You take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm.

  • You use clear and effective verbal communication skills with guidance to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.

  • Experience with TRIM, eDRMS, InEight Document, BIM, and RedEye systems preferred but not a must have.
