Project Manager | Tier 2 Builder | Melbourne

The Company: Tier 2 Builder with an Exceptional History in Melbourne, and regarded as a leading construction company renowned for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including Education, Health, Leisure, Government, and Pharma. They are committed to excellence, innovation, sustainability and their people across their project and the team.

Role Overview: Seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join the team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead project teams and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage project risks and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong deomstrated history of experience in project management within the construction industry in Australia, on similar projects, exceeding $50mil in value (individual projects).
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
