Dexus are establishing a group-wide procurement operating model and as such, have created the role of Procurement Manager. The Procurement Manager will take an enterprise view supporting two priority capability builds in the development of digital enablement of the procurement operating model and a supplier management framework. The Procurement Manager will bring leadership in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation. This role will play an important part in building out how Dexus can optimise value in its management of suppliers.

The Opportunity

Your strong stakeholder management interpersonal skills will make an impact by:

Supplier Value Management

  • Build and drive adoption of the supplier management framework, its efficiency and effectiveness
  • Establish core building blocks to manage suppliers including overall supplier segmentation, policy, procedure and technology
  • Making Dexus a customer of choice, designing and leading the innovation initiative to foster a culture of

Procurement Technology Management

  • Establishing procurement data models for suppliers and categories
  • Designing procurement analytics dashboards for spend, overall supplier performance, procurement commercial and risk KPIs, sustainability and business specific focuses

Commercial Management

  • Delivering the best value commercial outcomes from supplier engagement.

About You

You are a highly commercial procurement leader, who is motivated by a role with an enterprise-wide view where you can truly shape end to end procurement in Dexus. You bring the ability to balance the speed and agility of a process, whilst ensuring the correct controls are in place. You are natural relationship builder, with sound stakeholder influence and management ability. Your strengths span across:

  • Demonstrating a strong understanding and experience of procurement,
  • Great commercial acumen, negotiation and project management skills
  • Strong supplier risk, relationship and performance management skills
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise and influence, in a professional manner, with all levels of the business
