ROLE SUMMARY
This role is responsible for developing and leading strategic procurement strategies and initiatives within the organisation to optimize portfolio spend as well as managing key supplier relationships and project execution. The role is expected to effectively communicate with management, other stakeholders, peers, Service Provider staff, peers in other regions and the parent organisation of Revantage and Blackstone.
As background, the procurement platform involves leveraging over $86 billion in spend data across 150+ portfolio companies which provides incredible visibility to what the portfolio companies purchase globally. As part of the platform, we have also developed over 75 preferred vendor partnerships to leverage our buying power across the portfolio. In addition, we have a dedicated Blackstone team of procurement professionals within a shared service operation which our portfolio companies utilize to execute eSourcing bid events with over 800 events globally per year across thousands of vendors.
The role will be based in Sydney as part of Revantage's procurement function and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Primary Role

**Strategic Sourcing and Financial Analysis**:

- Designing and implementing the organisation's strategic Purchasing/Procurement plan, and that of our Portfolio companies, in line with overall business performance goals.
- Analysing all aspects of the supply function including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, quality, ordering, inventory, checking, delivery, tenders and contracts and providing expert Purchasing/Procurement advice.
- Responsible for conducting spend analysis on suppliers and categories to identify procurement value levers, execute competitive RFI's/RFPs and overseeing the preparation of tenders, proposals and the negotiation of contracts.
- Leverage eProcurement technology platforms where appropriate using Blackstone's shared services sourcing centre
- Maintaining programs for vendor analysis and cost reduction thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.
- Conducting technical, business and process analysis, identifying areas for process improvement and providing advice to senior management.
- Provide analysis to support strategic procurement process and develop and manage plans to ensure successful execution of strategy

**Spend Management Program Development**:

- Building relationships with portfolio company procurement leadership to increase eSourcing and program engagement by capitalising on Blackstone spend management program serving as the day-today point of contact for.

**Blackstone Spend Data Management**:

- Work with portfolio companies to onboard, enrich data and operationalize portfolio company to drive value for Blackstone and portfolio companies.
- Supplier Diversity Data - Manage supplier diversity data to facilitate the implementation of supplier diversity programs and summary reporting of progress to Blackstone.

**Change Management & Vendor Implementation**:

- Lead vendor change management process across portfolio companies.
- Develop and program manage implementation projects to ensure procurement benefits are fully realized.
- Create internal and external collaboration and synergies across portfolio companies.
- Implement change management processes to help facilitate vendor transformations and procurement process improvements.

Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate cross-functionally, across-regions and categories to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to inclusive procurement.
