Lead and manage projects within our client's Design Division, focusing on enhancing participant outcomes and stakeholder experiences.

About the Role: As the APS6 level Project Officer (Labour Hire), you will play a crucial role within our client's Service Design Division, responsible for leading and managing projects aimed at improving the participant experience.
This role can be located in SYDNEY NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing project plans and schedules aligned with the Agency's project management framework.
  • Providing expert advice and technical support to stakeholders.
  • Conducting independent research and analysis, preparing detailed reports on project activities.
  • Coordinating project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
  • Drafting business cases, plans, executive briefs, and other corporate documentation.
  • Monitoring project budgets, expenditure, and assisting with procurement and contract management.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and benefits.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.

About You: To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in project management within a complex environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of government policies, procedures, and legislative frameworks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outcomes under limited direction.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in researching and identifying insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to co-create and facilitate process design improvements.
  • Advocacy for participant and stakeholder experiences within service processes.
  • Familiarity with design-thinking methodologies and digital service standards.

Please note you do need to be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN for this Federal Government role.
