Join a dynamic and collaborative Digital Delivery team dedicated to enhancing digital accessibility and user experiences. As the APS 6 Level Senior Digital Delivery Officer (User Experience Research) based in Surry Hills NSW, you'll play a pivotal role in the strategic delivery of a new, user-friendly website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion digital inclusion by ensuring compliance with current WCAG standards.
  • Manage research and engagement activities, including diverse user testing.
  • Utilize excellent stakeholder management skills to coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Facilitate UX workshops and user testing sessions to identify user needs.
  • Set priorities for ongoing qualitative research to ensure user needs are met.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as project coordination, data analysis, procurement, and more.
  • Manage research and engagement activities, including user testing with diverse user cohorts, to ensure a digitally inclusive, accessible, and user-friendly website.
  • Coordinate and support the website redevelopment project and other development work on microsites.
  • Conduct quantitative research and analysis, including using data from Google Analytics, SEM Rush, social media, CRM, and email.
  • Set priorities and establish an ongoing operating rhythm for qualitative research to meet user needs and ensure digitally inclusive experiences.
  • Provide sound administration and project management support, including data analysis, procurement, meeting coordination, proof reading, testing, and inbox management.
  • Supervise team members performing related roles and manage stakeholder relationships.

About You
Essential Skills:

  • Strong digital acumen and best practice knowledge.
  • Experience with website and digital product management.
  • Expertise in digital accessibility and WCAG.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, including negotiation and influence.
  • Ability to develop briefs and scope project requirements.
  • Experience leading project tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Competence in user acceptance testing and user research activities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Project management experience.
  • Previous government sector experience.
  • Degree in digital or IT.
  • Content management experience.
