Position Description: 

About the role   

As our new Business Development Associate, you will report to the Team Manager Partner Assist, and you will ensure brokers are supported during their loan application lodgment process to make it easy to do business with us and increase broker loyalty. You will respond to broker queries via phone and email and provide support and advice relating to our systems, process and credit policy as well as liaising with internal departments on their behalf to achieve desired outcomes.

You will contribute to portfolio growth in providing exceptional service and support to brokers throughout the loan lifecycle and lodge updates and settlement calls within service expectations. Furthermore, you will bring your keen eye for detail and customer support to achieve individual KPIs and proactive monitor inbound queues to achieve team SLAs.

You will also ensure communication is delivered in line with relationship and service expectations, and meets policy, procedures and risk appetite requirements, whilst supporting the loan prioritisation process for Brokers, Partners and PRM/BDM’s in line with agreed guidelines.

About you  

As our new Business Development Associate , you will bring the following skills :

Call Centre environment exposure highly desirable. Knowledge of Third-Party Banking lending systems, products and credit policy highly desirable. Extensive customer service skills and exposure to call centre environments Strong communication skills that demonstrate ability to build relationships with partners and internal stakeholders. Self-motivated and self-sufficient Strong time management and ability to multi-task High level of professionalism, ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals. Is proactive and displays positive team attitude and willingness to help wherever possible. Handles challenges appropriately using conflict resolution skills and maintains composure under pressure. Has strong learning orientation and quickly grasps new concepts. Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively over the phone and email. Previous residential lending experience and ability to apply credit policy interpretation to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and Bank.

This role is a 12-month fixed term role based in Adelaide. We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum x2 days in a local Head Office p/week
