About the role

Activ’s behaviour support and allied health practitioners are a team of skilled multidisciplinary professionals offering innovative, person-centred, value-based quality therapeutic services to customers. We operate within a hybrid module of working from home and across the WA community.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments tailored to our customers' needs and circumstances. You will develop and implement evidence-based behaviour support plans, overseeing the use and reduction of restrictive practices in alignment with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.

The ideal candidate will have: -

Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS (Proficient level) or eligibility for registration Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline such as Nursing, Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or other related health/community/human services areas. Familiarity with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding principles, including behaviour support and restrictive practices. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. PExperience in facilitating group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoring.roven track record in delivering strength-based and person-centred services A positive, contemporary attitude, and a commitment to maximise quality of life for people with disability.
