About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts Supervisor in the Toowoomba Region. We have a 12 month secondment position available on a full-time basis. This role has become available as a parental leave cover.

We are seeking an administrative leader with expert level administration skills responsible for the delivery of patient accounts administration services.

About you

  • Utilise expert knowledge and skills to deliver a specialist level of patient accounts services.
  • Demonstrate and promote by example, a high level of patient care, compassion and awareness
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsibility, accountability and initiative across all aspects of administrative practice and promote a culture of service excellence
  • Apply advanced judgement and decision making to complex scenarios
  • Provide operational management and appropriate resource allocation to ensure efficient patient accounts service delivery.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and actively promote a collegiate approach to problem solving and patient care in a positive work environment
  • Provide expert level administrative advice and direction to patients, other health care professionals and clinicians regarding patient accounts service delivery
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team and other Patient Account Supervisors across QLD X-ray to ensure effective service delivery to improve debt management outcomes
  • Be responsible for training, education and development of patient accounts services in conjunction with the In Charge Administrator when appropriate
  • Apply to administration practice, the standards set by the mandatory Queensland X-ray quality and safety training modules and policies
