Job Title: Field Service Supervisor

As a Field Service Supervisor at Cummins, you will be responsible for leading a team of field technicians to provide exceptional customer service and support for our engine products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain productive customer relationships to ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on engines and related components in the field, adhering to documented schedules and standards.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors, and coach and develop technicians and/or apprentices.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customers, and complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, ensuring adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained engine technician or equivalent experience.
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
  • Significant field service work experience, with expert-level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Customer service experience, with the ability to provide technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians.
